I’M NOT DEAD!!!!

But I might as well be.  On Thursday, my house got struck by lightning and it BLEW THE FUCK out of all our connections to the outside world: no phones, no cable TV, NO INTERNET.  I’m sending this from the computers at HCC just so you all know not to set up a memorial myspace or anything.  We’ve had the cable guy over twice, and we’ve got the cable working, but we need a new modem, which (God willing) we should get tomorrow.  If that doesn’t work, I’ll try sacrificing Monty to the gods of the Internet.  Be on the lookout for smoke signals.  I have many a harrowing tale of my days in the wilderness.
